Jeff Cable at Shield Roofing & Painting can’t be beat. He’s everything you want in a contractor. He’s quick to respond…usually minutes….he’s honest (three years ago he came to my house and told me I still had some life in my roof so I waited), and fair in his pricing. He even recommended I turn the roof into insurance that had previously denied a claim on the roof. He met the adjustor and went up on the roof with him—the roof was fully replaced with only my deductible to pay. If there was a sixth star I’d give it. When I was in need of a new roof I contacted many contractors and they all seemed to be decent but it was hard to tell them apart. One of the folks I called for a quote came and said he does not do roof installations he only does roof leaks. He said there are so many bad roof contractors in the area that it keeps him busy.
